Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people. They are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change.
Crisis Skylight, the award winning and accredited education, training and employment centres, offer practical and creative workshops in a supportive and inspiring environment together with formal learning opportunities that lead to qualifications and finding work.
This year, at Cool Designs Ltd we have again acted as a drop of point for people wanting to donate clothing and/or non-perishable goods. We’ve had a fantastic response and would like to thank everyone for their contributions of all shapes and sizes. We dropped the items in to Crisis Newcastle today.
Along with their other donations, they will be sorted and railed by staff and volunteers and then during the Crisis Christmas event they will be on display in a “shop” where members will be able to choose items of clothing. Non perishable goods are then sorted in to small gift boxes and treated in the same manner and food stuffs are cooked and served during the event.
