Today, having examined its main properties, Carrier has chosen R-290 refrigerant to replace higher GWP refrigerants in its scroll heat pumps. By providing sustainable solutions, they are advancing toward their goal of reducing their customers’ carbon footprint by more than 1 gigaton by 2030. Their commitment is in line with the EU 2030 target of a 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and the EU 2050 carbon-neutral target.
